mobility plan, Signature Service is based on the successful
Bus Rapid Transit model. The result: METRO’s 402 Quickline
Bellaire route provides faster travel and fewer stops aboard
high-end hybrid vehicles, plus greater reliability and increased
customer convenience through the use of integrated technology,
infrastructure and operational investments.
How Signature Service Works
The new 402 Quickline Bellaire operates with the efficiency
of METRORail by offering limited stops to popular business
centers all along the line. The new Quickline features eight
state-of-the-art bus stations complete with digital “next bus”
signage to inform you when your bus will arrive. In addition,
a bright blue road stripe has been painted along the entire
route for easy identification.
Quickline provides reliable weekday rush-hour service, every
15 minutes, delivering you to your scheduled destination
much quicker than METRO’s 2 Bellaire route. Best of all, the
402 Quickline Bellaire costs just $1.25 each way – the same
as METRO’s local routes.
